A legitimate question arises:
Ziarul Operativ filed a criminal complaint with the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT) on September 8, 2025, against the George Soros Organized Crime Group and its accomplices in Romania.
More than a month later, no registration number, no acknowledgment, no response.
Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has ordered six federal prosecutors’ offices to launch coordinated investigations into an organization funded by George Soros, according to The New York Times.
The report states that investigators are focusing on financial flows, lobbying activities, and potential electoral influence exerted through Soros-affiliated entities.
This marks the first major federal action targeting a network accused of using “philanthropy” as a cover for political and ideological manipulation.
In Romania, however, DIICOT remains silent.
No investigation, no transparency, no explanation.
Why does the U.S. Department of Justice have the courage to investigate, while Romania’s Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism stays quiet?
How long will Romania remain a spectator to its own sovereignty being eroded?
