The Fable of the Wolf Who Never Gets Enough of “Optimizations”

It seems that The Fable of the Wolf and the Other Animals of the Land has stirred quite a storm.
What began as a simple moral story has now turned into a series of pointed questions: who is, in fact, the Wolf?
Well, the Wolf – the one who, it seems, has shed his fur many times yet never his habits of “optimizing” judicial files – is still wagging his tail today.
Moreover, all of Bucharest is buzzing with rumors that, at his command, certain sensitive cases may have been transferred from DNA to DIICOT, under the pretext that the acts of the “optimized” ones fall under the category of organized crime.
In a country where a single man, who led operationally one of the most powerful intelligence services for over 12 years, continues – even after retirement – to exert control and influence over certain sectors of the Judiciary, it is obvious that Romania has a serious problem with the Wolf.
It’s been said since time immemorial that the people’s tongue is loose – I don’t meddle in rumors – but if all this information proves to be true, we are facing a deeply serious problem.
A problem that strikes directly at the credibility of the anti-corruption fight, one of the essential pillars of any society that dares to call itself democratic.
That is why I speak directly:
Mr. Mayor Băluță, if these rumors are confirmed and justice is truly being moved by invisible strings pulled from local offices, then Bucharest is no longer merely an “optimized” city — it is a captured one.
And if these signals prove real, then it becomes clear that Florian Coldea has truly forgotten his country.
A man who once swore to defend it now seems to treat it as prey.
Because genuine loyalty is not measured in power – but in PATRIA, a priori.
