The Embassy offers the following best practices for verifying news:

• Check the source – Ensure the news comes from an official and trustworthy publication.

• Analyze the information – Confirm the news by comparing it with other official sources to avoid misunderstandings.

• Pay attention to dates – Older news can resurface without context, potentially causing confusion.

• Reflect – Ask yourself if the information is truly accurate and useful.

“Information is power! Use it responsibly!” – this is the Embassy’s final message, emphasizing individual responsibility in combating misinformation.
