President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Tested the New Togg T10F, the Electric Sedan That Marks Turkey’s Automotive Ambitions

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, personally tested the new Togg T10F electric sedan at a key moment for the Turkish automotive industry. Togg, the national electric car company, continues to expand its lineup following the success of the T10X SUV.

The T10F is an important step for Turkey, which aims to become a relevant player in the electric vehicle market and to reduce its dependence on imports. Erdogan’s direct involvement in promoting this project sends a clear message: Togg is more than just a car brand; it is a strategic priority for the Turkish government.

The first deliveries of the T10F sedan on the Turkish market are expected this summer, and the manufacturer plans to begin exports to Europe in 2025. The model is produced at Togg’s factory in Gemlik and is part of a broader plan to launch five new electric vehicles by the end of the decade.

Through this project, Turkey is aiming to develop not only its automotive industry but also its charging infrastructure and local battery production. The expansion of the fast-charging network and investments in electric vehicle technology are essential for Turkey’s goal of securing a strong position in the European market.

Togg T10F is seen not just as an industrial product, but as a symbol of Turkey’s technological progress and economic independence.
